The Utah School of Hair Removal was founded by Anna Bravard and Erin Carnley.
As electrologists and owners of multi-electro clinics, Anna and Erin are passionate about electrolysis and the amazing results it provides not only physically but emotionally. They have seen and experienced the transformation it provides. As practicing electrologists, Anna and Erin know the importance of knowledge and the high-quality training required to be a professional in the field. Having seen the limited options available for those studying electrology, they decided to share their knowledge and experience to help improve and raise the standard of electrolysis. To ensure the best education is provided, they sought for and received advanced training in instruction of electrolysis beyond the requirements set by the state of Utah. With the skills learned while attending the Utah School of Hair Removal program, students will have the opportunity to seek employment or become self-employed as a professional Licensed Electrologist.
Anna and Erin are excited to join forces with the other instructions and our students to help and care for all those individuals suffering from unwanted hair.

Meet Our Instructors
Anna Bravard
For years, I searched for an answer to my extensive unwanted hair problem. I had spent years tweezing and waxing not knowing I was making my problem worse. My unwanted hair growth started during my 20’s then increased with each pregnancy, tweezing/waxing treatment, and as the years passed. I struggled to find relief from my unwanted hair, and it began to affect my self-confidence; I felt as if I was the only one. Little did I know, eighty percent of women felt just like me. I was introduced to electrolysis in 2010 and fell in love. Shortly after ending my treatment path, I felt the desire to help others just like me, so I started my clinic after finishing my training in 2014. In 2017, I was introduced to Dectro International and completed training with their state-of the-art training machines for electrolysis. As a MedSpa owner, I have struggled in finding well trained electrologists to add to my clinic. After becoming an instructor and receiving advanced instructing for electrolysis, Erin and I began the path to opening the Utah School of Hair Removal.
Erin Carnley
I was born and raised in New Mexico where I met my husband. We have been married now for twenty-one years. During our travels with the military we had visited Utah and fell in love. We loved the mountains, the four seasons, and the friendly people, so we made the move and settled down here in 2003. I found electrolysis when I started receiving treatments in 2012. It did not take me long to realize I would love to be an electrologist and started the path to a new career that I love. I did my initial electrologist training and graduated in 2014. In 2017, I attended an accelerated Dectro class to sharpen and expand my skills. The year of 2020 brought on a new chapter of obtaining my Utah instructor license.

Kyla Phipps
Growing up, my mother was a cosmetologist, so I was always surrounded by the beauty industry. I inherited the passion to want to help people feel beautiful inside and out. Shortly after graduating from esthetics school, I worked for a dermatologist which is where I found my love for medical esthetics. I began working at Advanced Electrolysis in 2018 as a Master Esthetician. In 2020, I decided to further my education to become a licensed electrologist. My favorite part of this industry is getting to know my clients and helping them feel comfortable in their own skin again.
Anna, Erin, Kelsey, and Kyla all received their Dectro Trainer certifications. They enjoy being a part of the Utah Electrologist guild executive committee and are also members of the American Electrology Association.
